Job Description

Join the Athletics team as a student employee supporting home games and events!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up equipment before athletic events
  • Tear down and clean up after events
  • Keep score or run the game clock
  • Take tickets at the door
  • Assist with in-game operations (ball chasing for soccer, baseball, softball, and volleyball)

Work Hours

  • 4-5 hours per event
  • Typically
    • Monday - Fridayย evenings
    • Saturday - Sunday day and evening
  • Students can expect 10-18 hours per week, dependent on their availability

Compensation and Benefits

  • Rate of Pay: $16.45/hour
  • Minnesota Sick and Safe Time
  • Not eligible for health insurance benefits
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enrolled as a student at Augsburg University and be work-study eligible
  • Ability to lift 25+ pounds
  • Willingness to follow detailed instructions
  • Reliable and able to work independently
  • Interest in athletics is a plus, but not required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in G Suite software services (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets)
  • Interest and/or understanding of athletics operations
  • On-campus resident
