Job description

This position is for current Tri-County Technical College Students (TCTC) enrolled in the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program. The AnMed Nurse Scholars Program allows students to work as a nursing assistant at AnMed and provides advanced funding for tuition costs. As a nursing assistant you would provide quality patient care under the supervision and direction of licensed nursing professional. Nursing assistants provide direct or indirect nursing care to patients from pediatric to geriatric populations in an acute care hospital setting.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency required
  • Enrolled and have clinical entry in Tri County Technical College twenty four (24) month course of study nursing program(ADN).
  • Must sign "Education Advance and Employment Retention Agreement"
  • Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
  • Must achieve a grade of "C" or above in each general studies courses
  • Must achieve a grade of "B" or above in nursing courses
