What qualifications do you need to work at a public library?

Work study positions at small town libraries typically require applicants to be enrolled in a college or university, maintain a certain GPA, and demonstrate good communication and organizational skills. Some roles may also require a background check or training in library procedures and customer service. Specific qualifications can vary depending on the library's requirements and the nature of the position.
