Job description

LearningObjectives: 

The Cleveland Public Library is seeking to hire Tutors formultiple locations throughout the county to provide basic skills, academicand/or literacy support to K - 12 youth and adults in the community.

These positions will be off-site at a Cleveland PublicLibrary branch. All sites are accessible by bus. This is the perfect job if youdo not have a car as many of the branches are located in communities within ashort distance to Tri-C campuses!

Tutors will demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Teamwork skills
  • Conflict/behavior management skills
  • Must be reliable and have a desire to work with youth, teens, and/or adults in an urban setting.
