Job Summary
The Work Study Student will support the Department of Communication Arts as a Shop Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2026.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Employment is contingent upon funding.

Responsibilities
- Assists with the build and installation of the production scenery, sound and lighting
- Assists with the build of costumes and run of shows
- Assists with the general running of the box office on daily basis and during the run of shows
Shift Specifics
- Up to 20 hours per week
- Flexible with schedule of availability
- Shifts available Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
Other Required Qualifications
- Must be Federal Work eligible.
