Job description

Schmidthorst College Of Business Welcome Desk And Dean's Office Assistant

Provide clerical assistance at the Schmidthorst College of Business Welcome Desk and the Dean's Office Suite, and to receive mentorship from senior peers to support the College and for your own professional development.

Assist with receptionist duties including welcoming guests, providing directions, arranging parking, fielding and redirecting incoming telephone calls, and managing content on the Welcome Desk Monitor.

Perform general clerical and administrative support duties, including backup coverage when needed.

Support the work of the Schmidthorst College of Business by assisting in creating, editing, updating documents, forms, online copy for websites, reports, and presentations.

Work with senior peers to complete ad hoc projects for the Dean and Dean's staff including projects related to event planning/coordination.

Attend/participate in projects and related meetings.

Other duties as assigned by the supervising faculty or staff member.

To be considered for this position, you must qualify for Federal Work Study by completing the current academic year's FAFSA. If you are not sure if you are eligible for Federal Work Study, please contact the Student Financial Aid Office for confirmation and supporting documentation.

BGSU undergraduate student in good academic standing.
