Job Description:
Position Summary
Radiology Associates of Florida is currently seeking a full-time or part-time Body Radiologist to join our team in Tampa, FL. You will be working at Tampa General Hospital, the #1 transplant hospital in the country, and will have a full academic appointment at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Daily work flow involves close collaboration with medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as other attending rads for tough cases and lunch breaks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in reading all aspects of body imaging and general diagnostic radiology, and will be interested in continually improving through a challenging case mix and eager trainees.
This position offers a full-time or part-time schedule, Monday through Friday, and is eligible for partnership track. Though primarily on-site, we offer regular remote days, which we intend to expand with a full team. We provide an exceptional and highly competitive compensation package with productivity bonuses, comprehensive benefits, 9 weeks of paid time off (PTO) plus holidays, a 401K plan, and medical malpractice coverage. We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. In Sarasota, our physician's staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Fellows and residents welcome to apply
  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • Body fellowship trained
  • Procedural skills (biopsies and drainages) would be considered a plus, but not required
  • MQSA would be considered a plus, but not required
  • Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of FL

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $500,000-$1,000,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
