POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Perform tasks supporting radiologists' interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies to improve efficiency and turnaround times.
  • Facilitate and expedite radiology studies by monitoring workflow, prioritizing STAT and call-report exams, and coordinating study readiness.
  • Communicate with referring physicians and clinic personnel on behalf of radiologists to obtain or relay patient and exam information.
  • Manage radiology studies, reports, and data transfers while supporting QA and teleradiology system checks.
  • Onsite or remote role (based on practice needs) requiring prolonged sitting or standing and the ability to lift up to 25-30 pounds.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Radiology and/or medical office experience preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Positive, cooperative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with hospital patient information systems and radiology workflows.
