Job description

Position Summary

The Popcorn Factory is seeking a Seasonal 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations during peak periods. In this role, you will operate powered industrial equipment to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility, ensuring efficient workflow and accurate inventory handling. This position plays a key role in maintaining production flow, supporting shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring materials are staged and stored properly. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced operating stand-up forklift equipment in a fast-paced environment.


Shift & Schedule
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Train on 1st Shift
  • Full-Time Hours: Monday - Friday
  • Saturdays required during peak season
  • Seasonal position with the possibility of overtime

Responsibilities
  • Pick work orders for warehouse and production areas using powered industrial equipment
  • Operate stand-up forklift, stock picker, WAVE, and pallet jack to transport materials
  • Assist with unloading inbound shipments of raw materials and components
  • Assist in loading trucks with finished goods for customer shipments
  • Transport finished goods from production areas to designated staging locations
  • Replenish raw materials to production and kitchen areas as needed
  • Put away received materials into racking using RF scanner technology
  • Perform battery maintenance including watering and recharging equipment
  • Follow all safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions
  • Operate all equipment in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
