• Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations to address the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team by regularly communicating with supervisors, direct care staff, and family members about clients’ progress and treatment plans.
• Utilize EMR software to maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes for compliance and continuity of care.
• Coordinate virtual home visits and assessments where necessary to ensure personalized engagement and effective support.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, making adjustments based on client feedback and progress.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment outcomes and enhance collaborative approaches.
• Organize training and supervision for staff to ensure they are equipped to implement therapeutic plans successfully.
• Act as a resource for the public and mental health community, promoting awareness and understanding of mental health initiatives.

Your role will involve working with a diverse population that includes adults and youth facing various mental health challenges. You will engage clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship dynamics. Your expertise in areas such as family therapy and trauma-informed care will be vital in crafting effective strategies to support their mental health journeys.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
• An active and unrestricted Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in Illinois is essential.
• Two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong therapeutic rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Proven experience collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and teletherapy platforms.

• Specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance abuse treatments are highly desired.
• Experience in providing telehealth services is advantageous, demonstrating adaptability to remote counseling tools and techniques.
