Job description

Description:

Tekwell is looking to add an Electric Motor Technician for the Cartersville, GA location! 


Who we are: 

Tekwell provides comprehensive service and repair for industrial motors, drives, and pumps. Tekwell has the expertise and tools required to repair, test, and install machinery, guaranteeing optimal efficiency and dependability, serving a wide range of electric motors from fractional horsepower to medium voltage. 


Core duties include:

  • Disassembly of electric motors for proper inspection and evaluation for the parts and repairs that are needed. 
  • Assembly of electric motors to include replacement of all parts, bearings, seals, brushes, etc. 
  • Performing tests as required. 

Other duties: 

  • Ensuring proper health and safety standards are maintained.
  • Coordinating and working with other team members. 
  • Proper cleanliness and maintenance of equipment, tools, and work area. 


Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Experience in the motor industry: disassembly, assembly, repair, and testing. 
  • Experience practicing proper safety standards.
