The Human Resources Office in the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) is seeking a non-CEAS undergraduate student worker to assist the office in meeting immediate business needs. Most tasks are clerical in nature, however, there may be opportunities to do more technical tasks. 10 hours per week expected. This position would not qualify as an On Campus Co-op.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Organize and maintain employee files (electronic and/or paper)
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of documents prior to filing
  • Assist department staff in completing the administrative/clerical functions (data entry, reporting, etc.)
  • Mailing, sorting, copying, shredding, filing, etc.
  • On-campus pick-ups and deliveries (typically keys and documents)
  • Aiding other CEAS Departments when workload allows.
  • Perform additional responsibilities, projects and duties as assigned

Candidate Skills:
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good communication skills
