POSITION DETAILS

Federal Work-Study (FWS) Internship Program:UVAAthletics Student Success Intern

This internship offers hands-on experience in student-athlete development across key areas in marketing and media. Interns will have the opportunity to tailor their experience based on interests and availability.

MEDIA AND MARKETING SKILLS

  • Creategraphicsfor Student Success andaffinity groups,followingUVA Athleticsbrandingguidelinesforexternaland internal communications

  • Utilize photo editing and graphic design software to provide a consistentstyle of digital advertising

  • Assistwithtechnical and administrative supportoutreach foracademic,leadership,communityandcareerdevelopmentinitiatives

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assistwithcreativeprocess to advertiseupcomingevents, including signature initiatives such asaffinitygroupsevents,careerinitiatives,Hoos Choice Awards, andlearning academies

  • Work collaboratively withathleticsstaff to support student successworkflow

  • Ensure compliance with NCAA, ACC, and UVA Honor Code regulations

  • Maintain detailed records on student-athlete interests progress

  • Other duties as assigned

Scheduling: 10-20 hours per week.

Compensation: $15/hr.
