Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of business contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Form and maintain business entities, including LLCs and corporations.
  • Advise clients on business transactions, corporate governance, and succession planning.
  • Prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments.
  • Manage probate matters from filing through estate administration.
  • Draft and review deeds, easements, transfers, leases, financing documents, promissory notes, and other real estate documents.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for business and real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to ensure successful client outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering practical, business-focused legal advice.

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
  • 3+ years of transactional law experience.
  • Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with business transactions, contracts, real estate, estate planning, and/or probate.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Book of business is highly preferred.
