Job description

The Shield Co. Management / EcoShield Pest Solutions is one of the fastest-growing pest control companies in the country! We are seeking an experienced independent permit coordination professional to provide permit application and regulatory compliance support during the sales season. This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor relationship. As the contractor, you will maintain control over how services are performed and may provide services to other clients. This position is hybrid but from time to time will require in person appearances at our City, State branch to collect, transmit, or deliver information to the sales team and may require delivery of permit applications and fees to local municipalities.

Key duties include coordinating and delivering permit submissions; preparing/assembling municipal permit packets; tracking status and expirations; scheduling/confirming inspections; communicating with municipalities and internal teams; maintaining permit logs/files; delivering Company-provided payment for permit fees when required.

Scope of Services:

  • Collaborate with Sales Partners and management to identify sales territories and determine necessary permits for operations.
  • Research and apply for solicitation permits in compliance with state, city, and local ordinances by visiting websites or contacting relevant agencies.
  • Track, calculate, and report permit fees and other associated costs, ensuring accurate and timely permit application submissions.
  • Travel between local branches, sales offices, and government offices to complete permit applications and run errands for office supply maintenance, as needed.
  • Maintain a historical database of all records for permit related applications, communications, and the permits themselves.

Contractor Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
  • 6+ months of customer service experience and/or conflict resolution, including phone, email, and SMS communication.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and provide customer service.
  • Ability to invoice for completed services.
  • Attention to detail and strong organization skills required

Pay and Benefits

Compensation (base): $25.00 per hour (independent contractor engagement). No other compensation is offered.

Benefits: Not eligible for company benefits (independent contractor)

Expenses: Contractor is responsible for their own business expenses, except permitting fees, which will be paid by the Company.
