Position Overview

Ignite Education Group is seeking a dynamic and innovative Online Course Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming written educational into engaging online courses. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Rise 360, Storyline, and the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) to create interactive, effective, and accessible digital learning experiences. If you're passionate about educational technology, instructional design, and ensuring students' success, we want to hear from you.


This is a contract position, with an anticipated end date of January 2027.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Course Transformation: Take written educational content and adapt it to an online format. This includes translating lessons, activities, and assessments for effective online delivery.
  2. Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline Mastery: Utilize Articulate Rise 360 and Articulate Storyline authoring tool to design and develop interactive and responsive e-learning modules. Create engaging and visually appealing content that enhances the learning experience.
  3. Canvas LMS Integration: Integrate the developed course content into the Canvas LMS to ensure seamless access, tracking, and interaction for students. Leverage the full potential of Canvas to create a user-friendly learning environment. Create assessments and dropbox items within Canvas to feed seamlessly into the Canvas grading system.
  4. Multimodal Learning: Implement a variety of multimedia elements, such as videos, graphics, quizzes, and activities, to enhance engagement and understanding within the online courses.
  5. Accessibility and Inclusivity: Ensure that course content is accessible to all students, including those with disabilities, by following best practices and compliance with accessibility standards.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of online courses, gather feedback, and make necessary updates and improvements to enhance the learning experience.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and instructional designers to ensure that the online content aligns with learning objectives and outcomes.
