While most plumbing work requires on-site visits, many independent contractors handle scheduling, consultations, invoicing, and customer service remotely. This role offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing plumbers to choose their clients and set their own hours. However, it also requires self-motivation, business management skills, and compliance with local licensing and insurance requirements.
