Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting in-depth mental health assessments for students, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique circumstances, focusing on mental health issues, emotional well-being, and successful reintegration into the educational setting.
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions for conditions such as ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD, including both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Facilitating personal growth through the use of therapeutic techniques aimed at emotional regulation and coping strategies.
  • Collaboration with educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to create a comprehensive support system for students.
  • Delivering crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies to ensure student safety and well-being.
  • Executing psychoeducation programs for students and families to increase awareness of mental health conditions and available resources.
  • Maintaining precise documentation and case notes in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participating in team meetings and case conferences to share insights and discuss student progress.
  • Keeping abreast of current laws, regulations, and best practices in mental health and special education.

Qualifications
