Customer Service Representative
Ace Handyman Services Columbus is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for homeowners, you'll play a critical role in creating an exceptional customer experience while helping keep our craftsmen's schedules full and productive.

What You'll Do
Customer Service & Scheduling
  • Answer inbound customer calls and respond to inquiries professionally and promptlyย 
  • Return missed calls and follow up with customersย 
  • Contact new leads and convert inquiries into booked appointments - No cold calls!
  • Follow up on estimates and outstanding opportunitiesย 
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate customer projectsย 
  • Manage and optimize craftsmen schedules to maximize productivityย 
  • Generate sales opportunities through proactive customer communicationย 
Additional Responsibilities
As training and workload allow, you may also:
  • Collect customer depositsย 
  • Process paymentsย 
  • Conduct customer satisfaction follow-upsย 
  • Assist with administrative projects and office support functionsย 
  • Support other operational needs as assignedย

What We're Looking For
Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalentย 
  • Exceptional customer service and phone communication skillsย 
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilitiesย 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skillsย 
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesย 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentย 
  • Comfortable learning and using scheduling, CRM, and office software systemsย 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlookย 
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minuteย 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamย 
Preferred
  • Associate degree in business, communications, administration, or a related fieldย 
  • Experience in customer service, scheduling, dispatching, call center operations, or office administrationย 
  • Experience in a home services, construction, or trades-related businessย 
  • Sales, lead conversion, or appointment-setting experience
