A Work From Home Chargeback Analyst is responsible for investigating and resolving disputed transactions between customers and businesses, typically related to credit card or payment processing issues. They analyze chargeback claims, review transaction data, and gather supporting documentation to determine the validity of disputes. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of financial and payment processing systems. Working remotely, these analysts communicate with banks, merchants, and customers to ensure timely resolution of chargebacks while minimizing financial losses.
As a Work From Home Chargeback Analyst, your daily responsibilities include investigating disputed transactions, collecting and analyzing supporting documentation, and preparing evidence to respond to chargeback claims. You will use various online dispute management tools and collaborate with internal departments such as customer service or risk management to resolve cases efficiently. Regular duties also involve tracking case progress, updating records, and ensuring that all responses meet regulatory deadlines. This role requires self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases independently in a remote setting.
To thrive as a Work From Home Chargeback Analyst, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a background in finance, accounting, or a related field.
