• Deliver psychotherapeutic support to students facing mental health challenges and collaborating on substance abuse recovery.
• Conduct thorough assessments to gauge individual patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans that prioritize evidence-based practices.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored specifically for recovery from substance abuse.
• Maintain organized and accurate clinical documentation that adheres to regulatory compliance and best practice guidelines.
• Collaboratively engage with a multidisciplinary treatment team to foster coordinated care and support for students.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health resources and coping strategies related to substance misuse and recovery.

You will be working primarily with adolescents and young adults facing the dual challenges of mental health concerns coupled with substance use issues. Many of these clients are enrolled in educational institutions and require tailored support that not only addresses their recovery but also integrates their academic and social needs.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of New Jersey is required.
• At least one year of clinical experience with a focus on substance abuse therapy, particularly in educational settings.
• Strong foundational knowledge of solution-focused interventions and best practices in mental health treatment.
