  • Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding schedule changes, delays, route issues, or client concerns.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, safety deficiencies, or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure the interior is safe, sanitary, and welcoming for all riders.
โ€ข Comply with all traffic laws, organizational policies, and Ascentria Care Alliance standards of conduct at all times.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with clean driving record (no CDL required).
  • Proficiency with smartphones, GPS, and basic digital tools.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Personable, patient, and friendly demeanor with riders of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a pleasant telephone manner.
  • Availability to work shifts between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
โ€ข Must pass a background check, Vermont child protection registry check, and adult abuse registry check.
  • Prior experience in passenger transportation, paratransit, or rideshare driving preferred.
  • Prior experience working with children preferred.

When you join R2G, youโ€™re not just taking on a jobโ€”youโ€™re stepping into a role that empowers you to grow personally and professionally while contributing to a meaningful mission.
Transform lives and communities with R2G. Apply today to be a part of our mission-driven Team!
