Location: Savannah River Site (SRS), Aiken/Jackson, SC 29802

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM (5 x 10-hour shifts) | Overtime available

Work Environment: Onsite

Build Critical Infrastructure Supporting U.S. Department of Energy Operations:

  • Our client is seeking an experienced Project Planner to support a major long-term coatings and infrastructure project at the Savannah River Site (SRS), a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) facility.

  • This is an outstanding opportunity to join a stable, multi-year project where you will play a critical role in planning, developing, and coordinating work packages that support quality coating applications and infrastructure improvements performed under stringent nuclear quality standards.

Position Overview:

  • As a Project Planner, you will develop detailed work packages and planning documentation supporting industrial coatings and infrastructure work at the Savannah River Site.

  • Working closely with Quality, Scheduling, and Document Control teams, you'll ensure all work packages comply with site specifications and the company's NQA-1 Quality Assurance Program.

  • This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate planning documentation in a highly regulated environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and assemble detailed work orders and work packages for coatings operations

  • Create planning documentation supporting site-specific Sherwin-Williams coating systems

  • Prepare work instructions, inspection documentation, SDS documentation, and Product Data Sheets (PDS)

  • Build work packages utilizing company NQA-1 Quality Program requirements

  • Ensure documentation complies with site specifications and quality standards

Collaborate with:

  • Quality Assurance

  • Scheduling

  • Document Control

  • Field Operations

  • Support planning activities related to cosmetic and structural concrete repairs when required

  • Maintain complete, organized, and accurate project documentation

  • Assist in planning activities throughout the duration of the project

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship (Required)

  • Previous experience in:

  • Project Planning

  • Work Package Development

  • Maintenance Planning

  • Industrial Construction Planning

  • Coatings Planning

  • Nuclear or DOE planning environments preferred

  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills

  • Experience coordinating with Quality Assurance and Document Control teams

  • Ability to interpret project specifications and technical procedures

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems
