Job description

We're looking for a summer intern to work with our marketing team on-site this summer to help drive school enrollment.

This position will be a 6-8 week internship (June - early August). Must reside in the Phoenix area.

Job Description

As an intern supporting our enrollment and growth initiatives, you will:

  • Respond to inquiries from prospective families and schedule tours with school staff
  • Assist with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tasks for newly acquired schools, ensuring accurate records and clean data
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to cross-functional projects
  • Support administrative and operational tasks as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • 3 weeks for a project in office:
    • Interview any current enrollment managers in our field organization and identify role processes, best practices and keys to success
    • Competitive research - do other childcare providers have these positions? How do they utilize them?
    • Make a recommendation for Cadence if we were to roll this out more broadly - what would the role be, the metrics, the scope/number of schools, registration lift expectation, ROI, etc.
  • 3-5 weeks in local AZ schools to prove out the recommendations 
    • Work with field leaders to determine schools to work alongside
    • School tour observations, make recommendations, lead tours, and follow up on all completed visits to drive registrations

Experience & Qualifications

Must be enrolled in college for MBA

MS Outlook skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Familiarity with social media platforms, specifically Facebook and Instagram

Self-starter; willing to research and find resources independently to learn how to accomplish tasks as well as willingness to learn new skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to collaborate with others both within and outside of the marketing department

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, along with a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks in a reasonable timeframe

Ability to work on-site in our Scottsdale office 2-3 days per week
