JOB SUMMARY

The Youth Evolvement ISY Specialist is responsible for recruiting, enrolling, and supporting eligible youth to achieve academic success, career readiness, and long-term self-sufficiency. This position provides case management, career guidance, and program coordination in alignment with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) youth program requirements.

JOB DUTIES
  • Participant Recruitment and Enrollment Identifies and recruits eligible youth through partnerships with schools, counselors, and community organizations. Conducts eligibility screenings, interviews, and assessments to determine program fit and service needs.
  • Case Management and Support Services Develops and maintains Individual Service Strategies (ISS) for each participant, identifying goals and barriers to success. Provides ongoing support, guidance, and follow-up to help youth overcome challenges and achieve academic, employment, and personal development goals.
  • Career and Postsecondary Planning Assists participants in exploring career interests, developing career pathways, and connecting to postsecondary education, training programs, apprenticeships, or employment opportunities. Supports resume writing, job search skills, and interview preparation.
  • Employment and Work-Based Learning Coordinates work experiences, internships, and job placements for participants. Build relationships with employers to develop and maintain quality work-based learning opportunities aligned with youth career goals.
  • Data Management and Documentation Accurately documents all case management activities, participant progress, and outcomes in the WIOA data management system. Ensures compliance with all program policies, procedures, and reporting requirements. Dedicates time daily to maintain timely and accurate records.
  • Follow-Up Services Maintains contact with youth for a minimum of 12 months after program exit to provide continued support, verify employment or education status, and assist with long-term success.
  • Implements Brightpoint Values Demonstrates and upholds Brightpoint's mission and core values in all interactions with participants, colleagues, and community stakeholders.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in social service, Counseling, Business, Education or a related discipline required.
  • Experience working with youth accompanied by knowledge of adolescent development issues.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Willing to work in a high accountability and performance-based program.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer operations, software applications, such as Microsoft Office, case management data programs.
  • A positive, professional attitude and commitment to supporting youth development.
  • When driving for Brightpoint, the employee must have a valid Indiana driver's license and must maintain minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 on auto insurance.
