Work Based Learning Specialist
Location: Delaware Valley Job Corps, Callicoon, NY
$25.63 per hour Part-Time 20 hours/week• Hours Negotiable, between the hours of 8am-5pm

Who are we?
Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We are a Center which uses student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve.
What You'll Do
  • Coordinate all on- and off-center Work-Based Learning (WBL) sites
  • Establish and maintain employer networks for paid and unpaid student opportunities
  • Track and log student WBL hours in the center system
  • Assess students' work skills, professional appearance, and communication readiness
  • Conduct WBL seminars to highlight expectations and career development
  • Visit worksites with instructors to ensure compliance with student learning goals
  • Coordinate student scheduling, meals, and transportation to WBL sites
  • Collaborate with instructors, business liaisons, and community partners
  • Mentor students and model Career Success Standards
  • Maintain accurate WBL records, including safety inspections and memos of understanding
  • Support, promote, and enforce Job Corps' Zero Tolerance Policy
