Responsibilities:
- Build responsive and adaptive web UIs leveraging contemporary technologies and design trends
- Translate user flows and user experience mock-ups into code
- Build products using cutting-edge HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Build and enhance supporting documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, and the existing development team
- Present and prototype new ideas; and regularly look for areas of improvement within existing applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, graphic design, or related field
- 2+ years or demonstrable strong understanding of HTML5, CSS and JQuery
- 2+ years of experience server-side development using PHP and MySQL
- 2+ years' experience using front end frameworks (i.e. Angular JS, Bootstrap, W3.CSS, JQuery UI)
- Firm understanding of visual design concepts (graphics, marketing, typography, layout, etc.)
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Solid understanding of imaging software, such as Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong desire to move projects forward and be proactive
- Familiarity with content management systems, such as SharePoint or WordPress
