What is a WordPress frontend developer?

A WordPress Frontend Developer specializes in creating and customizing the visual aspects of websites built on the WordPress platform. Their primary focus is on designing user interfaces, implementing themes, and ensuring that websites are responsive and user-friendly. They use languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to modify site appearance and functionality. To excel as a WordPress Frontend Developer, you need a solid grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, along with experience customizing WordPress themes and building responsive websites. Familiarity with tools like Elementor, Gutenberg, and version control systems such as Git is common, and knowledge of SEO best practices or relevant certifications can be advantageous.
