This position is responsible to operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) using required standards and documentation and is familiar with all operations necessary in producing a quality product in an efficient manner. Must be able to work independently and handle a fast-paced environmental with a high-volume workload. Cross train in other areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and produces quality product.

  • Run existing CMM programs to monitor and required product characteristics

  • Documents inspection findings; verifies CMM results.

  • Provides immediate feedback on product characteristics that require adjustment

  • Measures using micrometers and calipers.

  • Troubleshoots any problems that may occur during process and consults with supervisor and machinists.

  • All other assigned duties as required within the organization.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior technical training a plus, but not required. Some experience, familiarity and/or background operating machines and in machining desired.

  • Understands complex detail and assembly drawings, GD&T experience, CMM software/operation experience.

  • An understanding of basic CNC machining cause and effect. IE: Understands how to communicate to CNC machinists/operators regarding necessary changes to improve product characteristics.

  • Ability to work required shifts & voluntary overtime.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and sit, stand, or bend for up to 10 hours a day.

  • Ability to pass eye exam with a minimum 20/20 vision that may be corrected via eyeglasses or contact lenses as required. Eye exam is required annually.

  • Ability to communicate in English language clearly both written and verbal. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.

  • Good computer skills, working knowledge of Windows, Word, Outlook.

  • Ability to work in a small team environment, assist other departments when workloads demand it, and effectively work with all levels of the organization.

Benefits are available 1st of the month following date of hire.


Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
