WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Audiologist to join our team at FPN Lafayette Otolaryngology Associates in Lafayette, Indiana. We are seeking a provider interested in a steady, long-term relationship with Franciscan.
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have a passion for providing audiology services, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Audiologist will need to work collaboratively with all providers and staff members to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
  • Flexible full-time schedule
  • Average outpatient volume: 12 - 14 patients per day; most patients are prescheduled with some work-ins as needed.
  • Perform a full range of diagnostic hearing testing.
  • Obtains case history and administers diagnostic tests such as comprehensive audiograms & otoacoustic emissions; interpret results to determine the nature and degree of hearing problems and determine if additional testing or medical intervention is needed.
  • Consult patients regarding additional services such as hearing conservation, swim plugs, assistive listening devices and programs
  • Make referrals for further diagnostic evaluation, therapy and/or treatments

Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in Audiology - Required
  • Audiologist (AUD) - State Licensing Board - Required
  • CCC-A (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology) - ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) - Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required
