Job description

Job Summary:
Woerner Agribusiness is seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Support Technician to join their team. This position is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for employees across multiple locations, ensuring technology systems operate efficiently and securely.
Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level technical support for employees in person, over the phone, and remotely.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, tablets, mobile devices, and other technology.
• Set up workstations, user accounts, email, and software for new employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, internet, and connectivity issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Assist users with Microsoft Business Central and other business applications.
• Perform routine software installations, system updates, patches, and preventative maintenance.
• Manage IT equipment inventory and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate repairs and warranty service with outside vendors when necessary.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, including antivirus management, password security, and user awareness.
• Document support requests and maintain technical procedures.
• Travel periodically to company locations to provide on-site support.
• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 1–3 years of IT support experience, technical support, or a related field or an associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Basic understanding of networking, computer hardware, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently.
