Job description

The Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory. This role is responsible for a combination of equipment operations (30-90% depending on production peak times) but will also require material handling and loading/unloading duties.
Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
  • Tracking incoming and outgoing stock, reconciling discrepancies, adjusting stock counts
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Organize and store items in the DC
  • Follow OSHA safety regulations, housekeeping, quality and productivity standards
  • Provide updates to the DC leadership team
  • Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
  • Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck, and Dock Stocker
  • Minimum 6 months experience in inventory control, including cycle count and reporting discrepancies
  • Minimum 6 months experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar systems
  • Minimum 1 year experience in inventory-related job roles
  • Must have held job titles such as Inventory Clerk, Inventory Manager, or similar inventory-focused positions
  • Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift-training program
  • Six months warehousing and inventory experience
  • Experience with JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, or SAP systems
  • Mannhattan WMS experience preferred
  • Forklift experience
