Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Warehouse Transactions- Process inbound receiving and outbound shipping transactions accurately within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Verify Inventory and Documentation- Audit freight against packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping manifests to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate Cross dock Operations- Partner with third-party logistics (3PL) personnel to facilitate efficient freight flow, trailer loading, and unloading activities.
  • Resolve Operational Issues- Serve as the primary point of contact for shipping discrepancies, damaged freight, and system-related issues by utilizing customer portals and internal processes.
  • Maintain Shipping Records- Ensure all shipping documentation, digital records, and photographic evidence of non-compliant shipments are complete, accurate, and maintained according to company standards.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced warehouse and cross dock environment.
  • Frequent interaction with warehouse associates, third-party logistics providers, carriers, and customers.
  • Regular walking throughout the warehouse and dock areas to monitor operations.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and around moving equipment while following all safety procedures.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends as required to support inbound and outbound operations.
Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in warehouse, cross dock, transportation, or logistics operations.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably Korber WMS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience coordinating shipments with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
  • Ability to interpret shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and manifests.
