Material Handlerโ€“Turret

We are looking for a talented Material Handlerโ€“Turret to join our growing team. The Material Handlerโ€“Turret is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and retrieval of materials using a turret truck (swing reach forklift). This role supports production and shipping operations by ensuring accurate material handling, inventory control, and timely delivery of materials to designated areas.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Operate turret truck (swing reach forklift) to move materials within narrow aisle warehouse environments.
  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines or shipping areas in a timely manner.
  • Accurately scan and track inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF scanners.
  • Load and unload materials from racks, shelves, and storage areas.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling, labeling, and storage practices.
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities as required.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including OSHA guidelines and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards).
  • Assist with other material handling or warehouse duties as assigned.

What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1โ€“2 years of material handling or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Previous experience operating a turret truck or similar equipment strongly preferred.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification).
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning devices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 35โ€“50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working at heights (operating elevated equipment).
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
