Job description

Responsibilities
  • - Own inventory governance and reconciliation across U.S. and Canada distribution operations across multiple 3PL partners.
  • - Perform daily batch-level inventory reconciliation between SAP and 3PL ERP systems; monitor and resolve discrepancies with root-cause analysis and CAPA.
  • - Identify, investigate, and coordinate resolution of EDI failures between internal/external logistics systems.
  • - Manage product destruction (policy/regulatory compliance) and coordinate product donations to approved charitable organizations.
  • - Investigate and support resolution of serialization and product traceability discrepancies.
  • - Own inventory-related SOX controls; serve as primary point of contact for internal/external audits.
  • - Oversee cycle count programs across multiple 3PL providers (ABC classification reviews, count execution, discrepancy analysis, corrective actions) and maintain accountability for POD testing, inventory adjustment reconciliation, and inventory ABC classification.
  • - Lead cross-functional supply chain technology initiatives (WMS integrations, enhancements, automation, SAP S/4HANA projects) and act as business lead for inventory/logistics system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • - Partner with IT and business stakeholders for requirements, testing, issue resolution, and UAT/process validation; leverage SAP expertise for process optimization.
  • - Lead complex root-cause investigations; coordinate cross-functional resolution across Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Customer Service, Quality; drive process improvements and reporting; provide backup/business continuity to the Director; mentor team.
Qualifications
  • - Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations/Business or related preferred).
  • - 6+ years inventory/supply chain/logistics/distribution experience; at least 3 years in pharmaceutical/biotech/regulated healthcare.
  • - Experience managing inventory across 3PL providers.
  • - Experience leading system implementations/ERP-WMS integrations/transformations.
  • - Experience leading cross-functional projects without direct authority.
  • - Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution operations, GMP, GDP, DSCSA, SOX, and inventory control.
  • - Advanced SAP S/4HANA experience (inventory adjustments, IDOC monitoring/error resolution, material master data, material documents, sales orders/deliveries, inventory reporting/analysis, system testing/process optimization); experience with WMS platforms and 3PL systems.
  • - Strong analytical/reporting skills (Excel, Access, Power BI/BI tools).
  • - Strong leadership, stakeholder influence, organizational/communication, and problem-solving; ability to translate complex issues into actionable solutions.
