About the Role

The Senior Manager, Distribution & Warehouse Operations will lead Precor's U.S. West Coast distribution network, overseeing receiving, warehousing, shipping, inventory management, and spare parts logistics. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, leading warehouse transformation initiatives, and scaling distribution capabilities to support continued business growth.
This position will play a key role in implementing a new warehouse operation, including WMS modernization, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The role will also develop high-performing teams and establish scalable operational processes across the distribution network.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily distribution and warehouse operations across finished goods and spare parts logistics to ensure accurate and timely customer deliveries.
  • Optimize inbound and outbound shipping processes to improve service levels, operational efficiency, and supply chain performance.
  • Oversee implementation of a new west coast distribution center, including warehouse systems, automation initiatives, and operational readiness activities.
  • Establish and sustain Lean and continuous improvement practices to improve productivity, quality, safety, and operational consistency.
  • Develop and monitor operational KPIs, utilizing data and root cause analysis to drive performance improvements.
  • Manage inventory movement through bonded warehouses to support tariff optimization and cash flow management.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and inventory control processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, customer service, manufacturing, and transportation teams to improve end-to-end logistics performance.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process digitization, and cost reduction across warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Lead warehouse systems initiatives, including WMS enhancements, process standardization, and reporting capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing lead times, improving shipment quality, and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, succession planning, training, and employee development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, engagement, and safety across all operations.
  • Manage labor planning, staffing, scheduling, and operational resource allocation to support business demand.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, including labor, freight, storage, and warehouse-related expenses.
  • Provide regular reporting on operational performance metrics including inventory accuracy, shipping performance, productivity, and customer service levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Progressive leadership experience in distribution, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success leading warehouse systems implementations and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing multi-site distribution or warehouse operations.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities with experience coaching frontline leaders and operational teams.
  • Proficiency with ERP, WMS, and operational reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of domestic and global shipping logistics, inventory control, and import/export compliance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and program management skills.
  • Ability to lead change and drive operational improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent operational excellence training.
  • Experience supporting warehouse automation or process digitization initiatives.
  • Experience operating within a metrics-driven logistics or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience developing and executing multi-year operational improvement or transformation plans.

Pay Range: $160,000 to $180,000

The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual pay offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
