A WMS Implementation Analyst is a professional responsible for the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) within an organization. They work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, customize software solutions, and ensure smooth integration with existing business processes. Their role often involves troubleshooting, providing training, and supporting continuous improvements to warehouse operations. WMS Implementation Analysts play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring that the warehouse technology meets the needs of the business.

Top Skills'' Details

1. Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) Experience

This is effectively a hard requirement.

  • 2–3 MAWM implementations preferred; strong candidates with 1 implementation considered.
  • WMOS candidates must have strong Cloud/SaaS, API integrations, extensibility/configuration, and event-driven architecture experience.
  • Strong technical understanding of WMS integrations, APIs, ERP/OMS/TMS connectivity, data flows, and application architecture.
  • Full warehouse operations knowledge: receiving, putaway, replenishment, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
  • Must have participated in or led a full-cycle WMS implementation from requirements through go-live/hypercare.
  • Ability to lead the WMS workstream, work with implementation partners, challenge technical recommendations, and serve as the client-side WMS SME.
  • Approximately 70% systems / 30% operations focus.
  • Retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, or distribution experience strongly preferred.
