As a Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments to determine clients' needs and craft comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual goals.
• Providing evidence-based therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders.

• Coordinating care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment for clients.
• Participating in regular supervision and case consultations with team members to enhance therapy effectiveness and professional development.

Your role will involve working with a varied patient population facing a range of mental health challenges, particularly mood disorders. Your expert approach will help facilitate healing and growth among adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Experience in assessing and treating mood disorders, with a solid understanding of psychopharmacology.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients and maintain professional boundaries.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your application:

• Previous experience in a community health setting, particularly in outpatient therapy.
