Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital & Clinics is seeking a Modality Specialist-Radiology to lead our RADIOLOGY team!

The Modality Specialist acts as the lead tech within the Radiology department. Has technical oversight of assigned modality with respect to new implementations, quality assurance activities, and training and competency of staff. Performs job duties within scope of practice(s).

  • This is an excellent opportunity for a current Technologist that is looking to take their next career step!

Hours: .9 FTE/72 hours every two weeks working primarily day shifts and will need to cover PM, Night and weekend shifts as needed

Experience/Qualifications

  • Knowledge of imaging standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from a formal accredited imaging program.

  • Three or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist is needed

  • State of WI Radiology license

  • Experience in leading or managing a team is desired.

  • Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of an imaging or nursing program (as applicable)

  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire

  • Licensed or credentialed in area of practice per applicable job description.

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of PACS and RIS.
