Job description

Cased Hole Wireline Operator (Junior-Senior/Lead)
  • Schedule: Full-time | On-call rotation; dispatch to field locations
  • Travel: Frequent to job sites; varied conditions
  • Reports to: Crew Leader (Engineer) and Operations Management
Support safe, efficient cased-hole wireline operations from pre-job prep to onsite execution. This role operates heavy equipment, assists with load-outs and rig-up, and follows strict safety, regulatory, and client standards.
What you'll do
  • Safely operate/assist with heavy equipment for wireline operations.
  • Complete pre-job load-outs, inspections, and equipment readiness.
  • Follow all company, client, and government procedures (HSE, DOT, BATFE).
  • Identify and report equipment or safety issues promptly.
  • Work an on-call schedule; dispatch to field as needed.
  • Maintain current third-party and company training/certifications.
  • Support perforating and plug-setting equipment loading, transport, and assembly.
  • Perform additional duties aligned to company mission/values.
What you bring
  • High school diploma/GED required; geology/engineering degree preferred.
  • Prior wireline operator experience preferred (junior through lead levels considered).
  • Basic heavy-equipment operating principles; willingness to learn under supervision.
  • Able to drive/operate equipment in varied conditions.
  • Read/interpret safety manuals, SOPs, and operational instructions; follow written/oral directions.
  • Strong field communication, problem solving, and schedule reliability.
  • Able to obtain: BATFE Employee Possessor clearance; CDL with HazMat (within company timeline); company certifications for crane/pressure control equipment.
Physical requirements
  • Routinely lift/move up to 75 lbs.
  • Extended sitting and active listening; full use of hands; extended arm reach.
  • Walk short distances over uneven terrain.
  • Perform physically demanding manual work in extreme weather.
