Job Summary
The Solution Consultant is responsible for engineering and designing secure, scalable, wired/wireless, and IIoT solutions that span sensors to cloud, utilizing Belden's best in class secure network switching, routing, wireless, and software solutions. They are a critical business partner to our clients and sales teams by enabling IT / OT Convergence Solutions and Physical AI applications across focused industry verticals. This key position is responsible for helping fuel our solutions growth, leveraging Belden's full suite of products, solutions and services.
Successful Candidates Will:
  • Leverage their robust technical skills, consultative competencies and vertical expertise to solve customer challenges using Belden solutions, services and support offerings
  • Translate customer requirements and problem statements into compelling technical solutions with demonstrable financial impact
  • Recognize and utilize validated architectures to deliver vertical and use case specific solutions with heightened value
  • Utilize Automation and Tooling to deliver accelerated opportunity velocity & win rates
  • Deliver Bookings from solutions, products, services and SLA's facilitating customer success and continued stakeholder engagement
  • Propose secure solutions inclusive of Digital Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and third-party elements
  • Expand influence within end customer, SI, EPC & engineering communities within the AMS Region
  • Develop and co-create proof-of-concepts delivering significant operational and / or financial impact
  • Facilitate quality handovers to internal execution teams; Identify process or solution improvement priorities and emerging technology trends requiring Belden solutions
  • Secure customer commitment through best-in-class solutions, service and post-sale support programs

Education & Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience designing or implementing solutions (L1/L2, Wireless), Software and / or Services for large or complex client networks in Material Handling, Discrete / Automotive, or Process Markets
  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, communications or engineering is preferred, with a focus on wired & wireless networking, data platform/visualization, LAN / WAN & Ethernet based communications
  • Experience working with cross functional teams including Solution Architects, Solution Line Managers, Product Managers, Sales and Marketing
  • Track Record of successfully consulting with clients to identify and resolve critical network challenges
  • Experience utilizing automation tools that guide the creation of: Executive summary, scope of work, network architecture, physical & logical topology and data flow, bill of materials, and service & SLAs

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $120,000 to $150,000.00, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.
