We are currently seeking a Network Analysis Support specialist with 10+ years of experience to join our team and fully embrace our commitment to deliver, grow and thrive.
About the Role:
As a Wireless Network Performance Engineer, you will provide expert wireless network measurement, field test analysis, and performance reporting support for a nationwide public safety broadband network. Your work will focus on drive-test log analysis, anomaly investigation, network measurement report development, and data-driven insights to support oversight and continuous improvement of mission-critical communications infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Perform detailed analysis of QualiPoc device field test logs using the Rohde & Schwarz SmartAnalytics log post-processing tool. Utilize this tool to generate measurement databases and develop maps, charts, plots, and exported data sets of network measurement data for use in the generation of network measurement reports.
  • Support investigation of anomalies and performance issues identified during log analysis activities. Utilize customized workspaces and data sets to support investigation efforts. Complete device log replay when appropriate utilizing the Rohde & Schwarz SmartMonitor for additional investigation of test failures and performance issues.
  • Support development of network measurement reports, various dashboards, and white papers on 4G/5G deployment, performance, adoption, and usage to inform the client's decision making and reinvestment strategies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of methods, analyses, and results (including trackers, comparison reports, and data inventories) to support auditability and risk management activities, and communicate findings and recommendations to Subject Matter Experts and program staff.
  • Aggregate and consolidate large, recurring network measurement campaigns into summary analyses, dashboards, and reports to support oversight of deployed telecommunications coverage and network performance.
  • Assess and validate drive-test data, comparing measured performance across multiple network cellular operators using GIS and RF tools to identify trends, anomalies, and gaps.
  • Review vendor-provided network data and deliverables (e.g., coverage, capacity, deployment configurations, performance metrics) to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues in support of network verification and validation.
  • Develop research-based reports and white papers addressing complex telecommunications and network-related issues to support contract oversight and executive decision making.
  • Engage with a range of stakeholders, including government personnel, subject matter experts, and task managers, to clarify requirements, present findings, and support program and project decision making.
  • Develop engineering reports, statistical analyses, and management-ready presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive
