 Network Technologist 

Knoxville, TN | Direct Hire 

We''re partnering with a well-established organization seeking a Network Technologist  to support and improve a growing multi-site network environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day network administration with project work and infrastructure improvements. You''ll have the opportunity to work across multiple locations, evaluate existing environments, recommend enhancements, and play an active role in improving reliability, performance, and scalability.

This is more than a break/fix position. The team is looking for someone who takes ownership, thinks proactively, and enjoys solving problems before they become larger issues.

What You''ll Be Doing
  • Administer and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless environments
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues
  • Participate in network upgrades, refreshes, and modernization initiatives
  • Assess network environments and recommend improvements
  • Create and maintain network documentation
  • Support infrastructure projects from planning through implementation
  • Work directly with end users and business stakeholders to understand operational needs
  • Assist with wireless and site infrastructure planning as needed
What We''re Looking For
  • 3โ€“5 years of hands-on networking experience
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching concepts
  • Experience with VLANs, network troubleshooting, and firewall administration
  • Understanding of BGP, failover, and static routing concepts
  • Experience configuring and managing network infrastructure devices
