Role: Technical Lead - Networking & Wireless
Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced Technical Lead - Networking & Wireless to lead and deliver complex network and wireless programs in a Service Provider environment. This role requires strong hands on technical knowledge, close coordination with offshore delivery teams, and direct interaction with onsite client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end to end delivery of network and wireless programs for large enterprise/service provider clients.
• Coordinate execution with offshore engineering, validation, and vendor teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for onsite client stakeholders.
• Own project planning, execution tracking, risk management, and dependency tracking.
• Drive cross functional alignment across firmware, network, cloud, QA, and operations teams.
• Translate client requirements into clear technical and execution plans.
• Ensure release readiness, quality, and on time delivery of milestones.
Required Technical Skills (Hands on Experience Mandatory):
• BNG / SP Edge architecture
• Ciena Benu vBNG (virtual, running on VMware / UCS infrastructure)
• RADIUS / AAA load, scaling, and subscriber management
• Provisioning Systems using REST APIs
• Wireless Controllers and Access Points
o Ruckus AP
o Cisco
• OctoScope
• Cisco ASR 9000
• Network switching and routing fundamentals
Required Experience & Skills:
• 10–12 years of experience in networking, wireless, or broadband delivery.
• Proven experience in Service Provider / ISP environments.
• Strong system level understanding of subscriber networks and wireless infrastructure.
• Experience in client facing, onsite technical project management roles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate and drive execution across global/offshore teams.
