Responsibilities

This position has responsibilities for:

  • Leading Keysight’s customer engagements from a technical perspective
  • Owning the technical solution development, demonstration, proposal, and in some cases delivery
  • Teaming with sales professionals, industry solution teams, and other disciplines to develop and win complex opportunities
  • Creating demand for Keysight’s products and services through presentations, seminars, and demonstrations
  • Developing and building long term relationships and loyalty with customers as a application expert while ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • This position is compensated by a 90% salary and 10% commission. It yields 100% target pay achievement at 100% of targeted sales with higher commission rates once the target is exceeded.

Qualifications

This position requires the following skillsets and attributes, with an emphasis on technical expertise and communication skills:

  • 5-10 years professional work experience
  • BSEE required or MSEE preferred or equivalent education with emphasis in wireless communication systems
  • Understanding of Wireless applications with specific competences in 5G and Protocol Certification/Conformance and Radio Channel Emulation, MIMO, Channel propagation for wireless channels
  • Basic programming and instrument automation knowledge
  • Understanding of L1 operations between UE and enodeB, Handovers, MIMO, CA and test methods of validating UE performance at L1
  • Understanding of modern modulation schemes
  • Knowledge of 5G NR FR1 and FR2 NSA/SA call procedures and messages [L1 to L3], RF and protocol measurements.
  • Knowledge of Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) including channel propagation characteristics
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal teammates
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Effective presentation and problem-solving skills

Background in the following areas is highly desirable:

  • Understanding of 3GPP Releases, its interpretation and test cases applicable for UE.
  • Hands on experience on measurement instruments including 5G base station emulator, channel emulator, signal/spectrum analyzer and signal generators.

Additional characteristics of candidates we are seeking for this position include:
