Overview
The Wire Transfer Specialist is a critical role to the bank due to the inherent risk associated with Wire Transfers as well as the time sensitive nature of wire processing. The Wire Transfer Specialist role will assist in all operational aspects of wire transfer operations and requires direct interaction with bank associates across all markets.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assisting in all operational aspects of wire transfer operations primarily processing incoming/outgoing wire requests with the Federal Reserve
  • Responsible for assisting associates across the organization with questions regarding wire transfer agreements, research requests, filing/storage of wire transfer documents and reports, wire transfer agreements, etc.
  • Understand and comply with bank policies, laws, and regulations, such as BSA/AML programs
  • Display professional interpersonal skills at all times with clients (internal and external)
  • Provide feedback and input on process and workflow improvements, as identified, to continually ensure optimal efficiencies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of banking experience or equivalent knowledge is preferred
  • Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office products
  • Aptitude for operating other systems and software
  • Strong interpersonal and written and verbal skills
  • Strong reasoning and problem solving skills
  • Requires criminal background checks
  • Flexible work schedules based on wire volumes and related activity that may require unplanned after hours work schedules
