Job description

The Senior Product Manager - Digital Payments will take ownership of the digital payment experience and shape the next generation of payments and transfers capabilities for clients around the world. This role is with Citi's Payments and Transfers product team leading roadmap strategy, digital adoption, and client-centric product delivery across a portfolio that includes Wires, ACH and embedded banking solutions for Small Business payments. This work is at the intersection of client insight, competitive intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to position Citi as the partner of choice for digital payments.

Responsibilities: Own and continuously enhance the end-to-end digital payment journey, spanning Wires and ACH Payments initiation, servicing, and reporting, to deliver seamless client experiences at scale for Small Business payments Lead end-to-end product management for Digital Cash Management solutions including Wire Payments & ACH originations for Small Businesses Lead the development and execution of strategic product roadmaps for Payments and Transfers capabilities, coordinating product launches, enhancements, and marketing to maximize business impact. Shape client value propositions, pricing strategies, segmentation, and channel positioning to strengthen Citi's competitive standing in the digital payments market. Partner with UX, technology, and analytics teams to translate client needs into scalable, intuitive digital solutions that measurably improve adoption and satisfaction.

Analyze competitive landscapes, market trends, and client research to identify opportunities and inform product strategy and execution priorities. Apply qualitative and quantitative data to test product hypotheses, validate potential solutions, and guide decisions that improve client engagement and revenue performance. Coordinate digital integration efforts with fintech partners, third-party vendors, and internal technology teams to extend capabilities through APIs and embedded banking.

Mentor newer team members and contribute to a performance-focused team environment where obstacles are resolved quickly and delivery remains on track. Experience: 6-10 years experience in product management with proven success in ownership of digital products across their full lifecycle. Experience in Small Business B2B or B2C payments or Cash Management Solutions is preferred Hands-on experience with digital payment products and client journey mapping, with a clear ability to translate complex client needs into product solutions.

Analytical capability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data, identify customer pain points, and validate product decisions with evidence. Ability to manage shifting priorities independently, maintain delivery momentum under pressure, and adapt quickly when requirements change. Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders around product priorities.

Experience working with third-party vendors or fintech partners within a regulated financial services environment. A bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification is required. Additional Experience & Qualifications: Background in product management, product development, marketing, acquisitions, or product analytics within financial services Familiarity with API-based product integrations or embedded banking models Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree.
