Job Summary

Designs, develops, implements and oversees information technology (IT), including hardware, software and networks. Implements short- and long-term IT solutions that meet the needs of the organization. Installs, configures, administers, upgrades and maintains security for IT hardware, software and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assesses the organization's software development needs and provides recommendations for improvements to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Assists in the management of software development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet the organization's technical and functional requirements.
  • Coaches junior software engineers, providing technical guidance and sharing best practices to enhance team performance and foster professional growth.
  • Conducts more complex software engineering tasks, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging complex systems.
  • Confers with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and integrate new solutions into existing systems while maintaining system integrity.
  • Designs systems to meet evolving business requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency in all software architecture decisions.
  • Determines the most effective software development practices and tools to optimize productivity, maintainability, and innovation within the team.
  • Implements processes to improve software development workflows, incorporating Agile methodologies and best practices to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Helps establish and implement industry-leading software development strategies that align with the companyas long-term goals and technical vision.

  • Required Education & Experience

    Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

    Licenses/Certificates: Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect

    Years of Experience: 5-7 Years

    5+ years of experience with SAP, including:

    EDI configuration and master data &IDOC processing and troubleshooting

    5+ years of experience with ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards  

    5+ years of experience with EDI translation tools, such as:

    IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (preferred) Or comparable platforms (Seeburger, Gentran, Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.)

    Experience with EDI communications protocols, including AS2, SFTP, FTP, VANs

    Strong experience with EDI mapping, transformation logic, and data validation

     
    Preferred Education & Experience

    Minimum Education Level: Master's degree

    Years of Experience: 8-11 Years

    Experience with IBM EDI Managed Services (Sterling SaaS, Inflight, Configuration Hub)

    Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA migration or implementations

    Knowledge of middleware/integration frameworks (APIs, REST services, message queues)
