Become a Key Player as a Winder Operator

As a Winder Operator, you keep production moving by operating bobbin winders and ensuring finished bobbins meet inventory and quality standards. You will impact output and safety by working closely with the Value Stream Team Lead and maintenance teams. This is an onsite, third-shift role (11:30 PM – 7:30 AM), Monday–Friday, with mandatory overtime as needed.

  • Set up and operate bobbin winders according to manufacturing specifications
  • String wire through winders, adjust counters, and maintain oil levels
  • Record required data for labeling and place finished bobbins on the wire table
  • Keep machines operating continuously and report production issues to the direct lead
  • Pull material from the warehouse and maintain a clean, 5S-compliant work area
  • Follow safety regulations and quality guidelines; report hazards and incidents
  • Assist the Value Stream Team Lead and perform related duties as assigned
