Final Assembly Technician

Location: Bridgman, MI

Position Type: Full-Time, Evaluation Hire

Pay/Salary: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Finish Technician to install final components on trailer chassis according to specifications and production schedules. This hands-on position is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install suspension and running gear components
  • Assemble and install landing gear, brakes, air systems, electrical components, lighting, and wiring
  • Mount tires, wheel components, mud flaps, VIN plates, decals, and other safety equipment
  • Safely operate hoists, slings, torque wrenches, hand tools, and measuring devices
  • Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and job specifications
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Assist in other production duties as needed
  • Experience in trailer assembly preferred
  • Experience in heavy equipment or manufacturing environments preferred

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools
